Down the south of Western Australia lies the beautiful Yeagarup Lake and challenging dunes that must be crossed to view the beach and Warren River mouth. Well worth it! Rona, Sabrina and Darius join our Russ, Manjimup's answer to Russell Coight, for an adventurous day trip. When we reached the mouth of the Warren, we saw Giles take on the river in his valiant charger, a Jeep Cherokee. The river won!!! Fortunately the local lads, AKA the cavalry, arrived to help and Giles, his girlfriend (the drone pilot) and the Jeep were soon on dry land. (Looking forward to the drone movie, Giles!) I have done the Canning Stock Route but I must admit we had to overcome the mother of all dunes to get out and back to the lake and home. Well done Russell and his mighty Pajero. Well done our beloved backpackers, Sabrina and Darius. They travelled all the way from Germany to dig out our bogged vehicle! Love you guys! What a trip.
