We have walked in many winter landscapes, but mainly in urban and suburban areas. In fact, Finland is known for something else too: pristine natural areas. What if, for a change, i take you on a forest trail of snow and ice? We really miss some incredible scenery when we just walk the streets. I picked a pretty chilly morning, the pre-dawn temperature was -25°C, with a wind chill of about -31°C. Fortunately, the sun will be with us with its gentle, warming touch. If you want to see what the river looks like without snow and ice, I filmed here 4 years ago in early spring.
