Wide shot of scene STORYLINE: It's been a tense day outside of Slobodan Milosevic's residential villa on the outskirts of Belgrade, as supporters of the former president clashed with riot police while Milosevic remained holed up inside, resisting a warrant for his arrest. Early on Saturday morning police laid siege to Milosevic's home in an attempt to arrest him. Soon his supporters gathered outside the prestigious villa, built by the former communist dictator Tito in the 70s. Upon police insistence they and the media backed away a few hundred metres, with many of the supporters seen smiling and talking casually with the riot police as they walked away from the villa. As the day went on, more supporters gathered and began chanting and waving posters of Milosevic. Some had anti-NATO posters, one showing a U-S NATO soldier stabbing a little girl with a bayonet. Buoyed by strength in numbers, the pro-Slobo crowd eventually broke through the police cordon. Triumphant, the supporters marched down the street to the state-owned villa to form a "symbolic guard" for their former leader. More riot police arrived and stood by. Elsewhere there were tensions between pro and anti-Milosevic groups.
