2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the Palace Museum in Beijing. To honor this historic milestone, the special exhibition "A Century of Stewardship: From the Forbidden City to the Palace Museum" opened to the public in late September, officially kicking off the centennial celebrations. Once the imperial palace of China's Ming and Qing dynasties, this UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site is far more than a static historic building – it is a living repository of China's 5,000-year-old civilization. Every courtyard here serves as a vivid stage for "dialogues between the past and present," a precious legacy the Palace Museum has safeguarded with unwavering dedication over the past century.
