In conjunction with the Galvanizers Association, we’ve hosted Open Days at all of our Galco Steel and Sperrin Galvanisers plants. It was a great opportunity to allow industry professionals – architects, engineers, county councils and steel fabricators to come in and get a better understanding of the process we do here and how it works. The main objective is for people to have a better understanding of how the hot dip galvanizing process works and what's involved in it. We know that the early consultation between the galvanizer, fabricator and designer is the key to obtaining the best results from the galvanizing process. Industry Open Day is a chance to build a relationship with specifiers so they are comfortable contacting us and engaging with us on complicated designs and new ideas they may have and new products.
