Join us as we walk halfway across the Brooklyn Bridge during sunset. We begin our walk at at the Brooklyn Bridge access point on near Prospect and Washington Street in Brooklyn and start heading towards Manhattan with the sun setting behind the skyline. The Brooklyn Bridge has a dedicated pedestrian walkway elevated above the vehicle lanes, so you'll be separated from the traffic. The walkway is wide enough for both pedestrians and cyclists, so be mindful of others sharing the path. As we start our walk, take some time to appreciate the bridge's neo-Gothic architecture, which includes arched stone towers and intricate ironwork. The Brooklyn Bridge is a historic landmark, completed in 1883, and it was one of the world's first suspension bridges. The walk provides fantastic views of the Manhattan skyline, including iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, One World Trade Center, and the Empire State Building. You'll also get a close-up view of the Manhattan Bridge, which runs parallel to the Brooklyn Bridge. There are benches along the walkway where you can rest, if needed. There's also a midway point on the bridge with historical plaques that provide information about the bridge's construction and significance.
