NOTE: The satellite heat detections shown at about 6:00 are NOT ACCURATE. Midday infrared flights show the fire has spread very little to the east since the midnight IR flight. We look at overnight infrared mapping of the fire, talk about where and how it has burned, and prospects for control. We also talk about the land management history of the area the fire is burning in, and about potential areas the fire may spread to.
