Q This 1-year-old rough coat tri-color boy is Border Collie through and through – smart, fast, and loves his people. Q is a hugger and really wants your affection. He has a sunny personality and wants to please. In learning to play with his foster pack, Q’s BC nature has started to bloom. At first, he was nipping (which didn’t go over well) and staring down the dominant female (that wasn’t popular either). He quickly learned that good behavior pays off, and now his pack mates are much happier with him. Q’s adoptive family will want to keep him busy – perhaps learning agility or other mentally stimulating activity. He is a very fast learner who is motivated not by treats, but by praise. He is quick footed and can dance backwards as well as forwards! As he learns the routine of his foster house, he becomes more confident every day – and is now just one of the BC gang.
