Today's pick of the day is a bit different as we venture into Vox guitars and a rare German-made amplifier from Arthur Klemt in the form of the Echolette BS40! Starting with our guitar of the day, a Vox MKVI V252 from 1967, many of you may recognize this style guitar from Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones, a unique look with a cool three-pickup single-coil sound! This one in particular has an awesome sunburst finish, with brass hardware! The BS40, while designated as a bass amplifier, sounds great as a clean amp for guitar as well. Two EL34s run the output of this 40w amplifier, which stays very clean up until the upper range of output, where it breaks up in a very smooth and pleasing way!
