I had this idea one day after having the opportunity to work with Sweet Ann's voice thanks to another project. I loved how she sounded so much that I finally took the plunge and bought her. I've always loved her and wanted to give her originals, and I thought that many different kinds of vintage-inspired sounds throughout time would certainly fit her. I hope to continue to make more songs in more styles of this variety! This was the second song I ever made with her. It's my personal favorite of the bunch. I wouldn't say it matches Ann's range the absolute best, and it also required a bit more dynamics work than would allow her potential clarity to pop (from what I've seen by making other songs with her); however, I personally think it's the best song.
