Getting The F450 ready for the big trip.

Big 450 work day before a 2.5-week road trip. I tracked down an exhaust leak at the turbo and fixed the downpipe fitment so the cab won’t stink on long drives. In this video, I pull the hot side back apart, drop the exhaust, and swap in a better-fitting downpipe that slides in the way it should. Then it’s onto trip prep, three rock lights per wheel well, new front ditch lights, wiring, routing, fuses, and cleanup so it’s ready for late-night miles. I also knock out a steering stabilizer to help the wheel shimmy, test everything, and finish with a deep interior clean and wash.
