As promised, we bring you one of the rarest games on the LaserActive - Vajra 2, the direct sequel to DataWest's Vajra (LD-ROM², 1993). Vajra 2 shows vasts improvements over its predecessor - the game now has more variety, with some stages structured like Pyramid Patrol and others following the "single-enemy pursuit' style of the original game. The "four mini-crosshair" system has been dropped in favor of a big and small crosshair (the smaller one being harder to hit with, but doing more damage and giving more score per hit). The music/sound and 2D sprites are significantly better, and the 3D CGI in particular is spectacular - this is one of the most graphically impressive games on the LaserActive, alongside Hyperion and the fabled Goku (both platforms, 1995 - wait and see!)
