In the Austrian capital Vienna, more than 5,000 protesters gathered at a square in the centre of the city, waving Serbian flags and chanting slogans. They burned at least one US flag, jeered and sang patriotic Serbian songs. Later, about 250 demonstrators fanned out across the city, throwing bottles and smashing the windows of a cafe in the neighbourhood of Ottakring. Officials said two police officers were injured and four people were arrested. There were also protests outside UN offices in Geneva, and outside EU offices in Brussels.
