Episode 16 We’re Building a Dream Home in Ghana- Big Changes at the Front of our House in Ghana

In this week’s Ghana build update, we’re focusing on the front fence wall and seeing the front of the house really start to take shape. From plastering and metal panel design to fitting the main gate and walk-in entrance, this stage made a huge difference to how the property looks and feels. There were a few unexpected challenges along the way, including small height differences in the pillars and a slight issue with the concrete ramp that needed correcting. But step by step, everything’s coming together, and it’s exciting to see the progress. We’re also sharing how we prepared for lighting in the wall, why we chose horizontal metal panels for extra privacy, and the moment the gate was finally installed. It’s starting to feel more and more like a real home.
