Risa Reaper (Gallhammer’s drummer) ‘Risaripa’ is the abbreviation of my stage name as a drummer. I started improvising with electronic instruments and my voice around 2017. The vision is the collision and fusion of machine and body. Currently, I mainly use modular synths and voice noise to create dark and noisy, avant-garde sounds. The theme of my world is ‘strange’ and ‘prayers no one knows.’ I am influenced by old new wave, noise, and industrial sounds. Numerous works released through home recording, also participates in collaborations and compilation albums. Live performances, primarily in Tokyo. In August 2025, I also performed at "You and Me Festival" in Beijing, China and in October at "LUFF 2025" in Lausanne, Switzerland. In Tokyo, I frequently participate in collaborative live shows, sessions, and other units, and occasionally play drums.
