This special report focuses on a tragic train accident at Chunar railway station in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, where at least four devotees lost their lives. A reporter on the ground states, 'They were supposed to deboard at the platform side, but they decided to deboard from the other side and the moment they deboarded the train, it was coming from the opposite direction, hit them'. The victims were pilgrims gathered for the holy Kartik Purnima Snan. According to railway officials, the passengers alighted on the wrong side of their train and were hit by the Netaji Express (Kalka-Howrah Mail) while attempting to cross the tracks, despite a foot overbridge being available. An investigation into the fatal incident has been ordered as authorities manage the aftermath. #TrainAccident #Mirzapur #UttarPradesh #itwebvideos #IndianRailways #Chunar #KartikPurnima #Tragedy #BreakingNews #News #IndiaToday Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
