Previously described as "literally impossible" Behind the technology: http://bit.ly/WirelessProbes Connected Kelp: http://bit.ly/ConnectedKelp Transcript: Hi Everyone, I’m really excited that we can finally announce our newest oscilloscope probe, the N2736867-5309FG-AG314 wireless scope probe. Here at Keysight, we strive to tackle the toughest challenges in the test and measurement world. Even challenges that have been described by our R&D engineers as “quite difficult” “an insane and inane waste of time” and “literally impossible.” But we don’t take no for an answer. After all, why let the laws of physics stop you? This unique, patented design leverages our existing InfiniiMax probe technology. You’ll hear in some of our probing videos, app notes, and eBooks that your probe and ground connections act as an antenna? Well, this new wireless probe design enhances the antenna effect to wirelessly send signal data to the oscilloscope. The oscilloscope then acquires, processes, and displays the data as usual. To create a wireless probe, you’d normally have to build an entire acquisition system inside the probe itself and stream the acquired data to a display using Bluetooth or other wireless standards. But at that point it’s not really a wireless probe, it’s just a handheld scope with the wrong name… I guess you have to blame it’s parents for that? However, thanks to the Keysight-custom UltraMegaTinyZoom 18 ASIC, the N2736867-5309FG-ag314 wireless scope probe is truly a wireless scope probe. I’d show you the chip, but it’s actually too small to be seen by the naked eye. This probe releases today, April 1st. To learn more about this cutting-edge, paradigm shifting technology, check out the link in the description. Happy testing Disclaimer: This probe will have limited regional availability pending distributor stocking, ongoing electronics safety certification testing, and the general public’s ability to discern technology advances from bull ****. #WirelessProbes #WirelessOscilloscope #OscillscopeProbes #WirelessOscilloscopeProbes #WirelessProbing #Antenna #electricalengineering #AprilFools
