Bacon Infused Bourbon is something I've always wanted to make. You might think that to make some bacon infused bourbon that we would simply soak some bacon in a jar of Bourbon. However that's not the case here. We are actually going to be using a process called fat washing to infuse our bacon flavor. Fat Washed Bourbon is made by taking the drippings from a cooked batch of bacon and infusing those flavors into your bourbon. It adds a nice amount of smoke and maple flavors into the Bourbon.
