Tam Cam Story 1st

Summary of Tam Cam Tam and Cam are stepsisters; Tam is kind and hardworking, while Cam is lazy and spoiled. Their stepmother favors Cam and mistreats Tam. One day, Tam catches a golden fish, but Cam and her mother kill it. The fairy But helps Tam by turning the fish bones into magical gifts. When the king hosts a festival, Tam, with But’s help, wears a beautiful dress and loses a slipper. The king finds it and marries Tam. Out of jealousy, Cam and her mother kill Tam. However, Tam’s soul transforms into a bird, a loom, and finally a fruit, from which she is reborn. In the end, the king recognizes Tam, and she reclaims her place as queen, while Cam and her mother face punishment.
