State Representative Dan Swanson (R-Alpha) introduced the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Foundation. The Illinois Agricultural Leadership Foundation is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to developing informed, engaged leaders for agriculture and rural communities. Through a rigorous, two-year fellowship experience, participants deepen their understanding of agricultural policy, food systems, leadership, and civic engagement, preparing them to serve Illinois in meaningful ways. In the gallery are members of the current IALF Fellows class, representing communities across our state, including: Jason Bollivar of Galesburg, Ethan Ax of Heyworth, Marlee Giacometti of Granville, Jessica Carter of LeRoy, Miriam Gay of Geneva, Lance Muirheid, of Oakley; Andrew Vigna of Dwight, Lane Kreiling of Mason City, Collin Ryan of Dixon, Samantha Bourke of Nokomis, Kyle Yontz of Bloomington, Teri Foster of Freeburg, Eric Muller from Deerfield, Iuliia Tetteh of Normal, Andrew Killian of Lexington, Rebecca Biernacki of Tinley Park, Selma Sims of Chicago, British Griffis of Calumet City, and Katherine Arndt of Malta. They are accompanied by Amanda Martin, President and CEO of the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Foundation, and Jenna Wicks, Director of Strategic Programs & Education, who support and lead this important work. We thank them for their commitment to leadership, agriculture, and the future of Illinois.
