POV: Playing Double Seconds with Courts Sound Specialists of Laventille for Panorama 2026

This is my performance with Courts Sound Specialists of Laventille on Double Seconds at the Trinidad and Tobago Panorama 2026 Medium Band Finals. This experience was truly a special one for me. Not only was this my first time performing with the band, but it was also my first time playing Double Seconds for Panorama since primary school. Returning to the instrument at this level, in such a competitive and demanding setting, was both nostalgic and deeply challenging. Reacquainting myself with the Double Seconds and preparing for the panorama stage pushed me in new ways and allowed me to grow as a musician. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have shared the stage with such a talented group of players and to perform a fantastic arrangement crafted for this competition. Special congratulations to the arranger for delivering an outstanding arrangement, and congratulations to the band on securing 2nd place 🥈 in the Medium Band category — a remarkable achievement!
