We're making an old west ghost town old western town jail walls, door, & cell bars. Here is our old western sheriff's office jail facade false front part 2. Learn how we make an old west town perfect for a backyard or other location. We are building an entire old western mining town and today we make the jail bars & start aging the wood that will go on the walls of the old west jail facade. In this video Jeana and I try to Bust Out! as much of this south west jail front facade build as possible. We finish the false window plywood shadow boxes, steel EMT conduit jail bars, fake door, and decorative roof logs on the old western jail facade. We make the door with new redwood fence boards. Jeana finishes hand panting the jail sign and old Eureka mine sign for the abandoned mine shaft. Jeana shares how she ages and paints the new wood and makes it appear to be old and weathered. She is amazing with the water down paint and brush. I cut the window openings with a circular saw and flush trim router. Jeana cuts the decorative logs and pre-drills holes before I install them on the roof. I share my razor backer tool for cutting hardy board tile board. I cut the metal pipe on the Dewalt chop saw and use a paddle or spade bit to cut the same diameter holes in the plywood shadow boxes as the pipe dimensions. We cover the 3/4" plywood with the tile board to get ready for the stucco. I show the window and bar installation. Excitement is in the air as we come close to finishing the Jail and moving over to the General Store facade.
