AMAZING Seminole pumpkin - the easiest thing to grow in Florida!

Seminole pumpkin is my all time favorite plant to grow in Florida. It is SO prolific, maintenance free, bug resistant, delicious, versatile, and pretty. It does take up some space, though. I found that Seminole likes to trail on semi-shady edges. Along structures, along a fence, along hedge rows, etc. It will readily climb, however, I prefer it to grow on the ground, as the shoots will root along the vine and sustain the plant even if the base dies off. The most amazing part to me is, that Seminole pumpkins are shelf stable for at least a year. I had some of mine up to 2 years and they did not rot. They got hard, but did not rot. This is fantastic for us cellar-less Floridians, as everything else we grow needs to be refrigerated or it will go bad rather quickly. Not so with Seminole! These pumpkins produce an abundance of healthy, delicious food for weeks on end. Nature is amazing!
