OVERVIEW: In this 2-hour class, participants will delve into the multifaceted nature of suicidality, focusing on assessment, intervention, and support strategies. Designed for healthcare professionals, mental health providers, educators, and community members, the course offers a comprehensive exploration of suicidality across various populations and contexts. Through case studies, interactive discussions, and evidence-based practices, attendees will gain essential insights into assessing suicide risk, responding to suicidal crises, and providing compassionate support to individuals experiencing suicidal ideation. His mental health journey began at 14, igniting a lifelong passion for helping others. With over a decade of clinical experience, Preston is a certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider, skilled in evidence-based interventions and neurofeedback. He's also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and serves as a founding trainer for Parts and Memory Therapy, having instructed over 280 clinicians.
