August 5, Poonch – On the anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370, Youth Congress observed Black Day across Jammu & Kashmir to protest the continued denial of statehood and democratic rights to the region. Despite the Eid celebrations, Youth Congress leaders planned a peaceful protest at Eidgah Chowk, Poonch. But the police blocked the site and detained State Vice President Fiaz Diwan at his residence. Still, the protest went on — symbolically, peacefully, and powerfully — outside Fiaz Diwan’s office, under tight police presence.
