Easy HIKES for BEST Views: MOUNT RAINIER National Park SUNRISE

Welcome to our travel vlog of the Sunrise area of Mount Rainier National Park in Washington state! We spent one day doing some of the best hikes at Mount Rainier in the summer. Sunrise is the highest point that can be reached by vehicle at Mount Rainier National Park--with the views to prove it! We did some easy hikes at Mount Rainier National Park. The first hike was the Silver Forest Trail, which is known for its magnificent views of Mount Rainier. This is one of the best hikes to do at Mount Rainier National Park and we picked a perfect day for our Mount Rainier trip. The Silver Forest Trail has a couple overlooks that give you a clear view of Emmons Glacier. Since we hiked Mount Rainier in the summer, the wildflowers were in full bloom. The entire hike was breathtaking! You have to hike this trail, especially if it's your first time at Mount Rainier National Park! Our next Mount Rainier hiking trail was the Sunrise Nature Trail. This trail was a bit more steep than we anticipated but the views made it all worth it! This loop trail leads you to 360-degree views of the surrounding valleys, Mount Rainier, and other volcanoes in the Cascade Range. Before we drove along Sunrise Road, we stopped by the Sunrise Day Lodge and the old gas station that still stands today! We pulled off at Sunrise Point Overlook, which offers phenomenal views of the various mountain peaks near Mount Rainier. Our final stop was Tipsoo Lake. The lake is five miles from the base of Mount Rainier but was one of the easiest hikes we've ever done. Little did we know, we arrived at the best spot of the park for sunset. Right across from Tipsoo Lake, you can watch the sunset glow off of Mount Rainier and the surrounding mountains. We've never seen anything like it before! What did you like the most about Sunrise?
