Film by Gavin Repton A short documentary of one of the biggest lantern parade's in the UK. The 24th Bolsover Lantern Parade hosted by Junction Arts took place on the 25th November 2017, with over 1000 people in the parade itself and thousands more lining the street it was one of the most magical nights of the year. Junction Arts holds community workshops throughout the month of November as well as working with local schools to create ambitious and beautiful lanterns. Throughout the day in partnership with Abandoned Normal Devices Junction Arts brought international artist Steve Maher and his 'Heavy Metal Detector' to Bolsover. This playful additional artistic element can be seen to be enjoyed by young and old alike in the film. Junction Arts would like to thank all our volunteers and everyone who made community workshops and lantern parade a success.
