Making group delay measurements on frequency converting devices with an embedded LO is a challenging task. This series of videos will show how those measurements can be progressively improved through a series of 10 steps. The instrument utilized for these measurements is the ZNA vector network analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz with option ZNA-K9, which addresses a two tone group delay measurement technique. This second video will address the different ways of optimally combining the two-tone signal used for the group delay measurement.
