Back on a new trail and this time in the Lake District, one of my favourite places to hike in the world. This is my third attempt at completing a long distance hiking trail and I'm excited to see if this time I can finally pull it off. The Tour of the Lake District is a 9 day circuit long distance trail of 154km that starts and ends in Ambleside on Windermere. Day 4 goes from Wasdale National Trust campsite over Black Sail Pass, through Ennerdale and over Scarth Gap to the beautiful Buttermere.
