The chicken is marinated in rich spice and yogurt marinade then cooked to perfection. The end result is a juicy, tender, and delicious chicken. This is a low carb, low-calorie dish making this a perfectly healthy meal. Check out the video above for my chicken tikka masala marinade made from scratch. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and share. For alternative cooking methods, check the instructions below: *Food Notes* Kashmiri Red Chili Powder is used for color and not for spice. You may also use Paprika as an alternative. Be sure to adjust the quantity according to your spice level. Chaat Masala is easily found in Indian or South Asian stores. This spice adds a nice tangy rich flavor. If not available, you may skip this. Here is an amazon link for chaat masala. https://amzn.to/2P5H2bp Orange food color is also optional but gives chicken tikka a nice bright orange color. I highly recommend marinating chicken tikka with the masala overnight. This will make the meat more flavorful. If you are in a rush, you may marinate this for 2 hours minimum. In the video above I used chicken leg quarters but you may make chicken tikka with boneless chicken or chicken breast pieces. Be sure to adjust the spice level and salt level accordingly. I made this in my Instant Pot Vortex air fryer. You may use any air fryer you have. You may also grill the chicken or bake in this in the oven at 365 degrees F for 30 to 45 minutes or until done.
