There’s this video I recently saw where, an animation. It was of someone telling the universe that they’re ready for the next chapter of their life. The universe grants them their wish, the wish however came with taking away all that they’re used to - career, relationships, housing etc. When the person asked the universe why they took those things away from them, she responded by saying in order to get to where you want to go you have to let go of everything you’re used to, to make room for the new. That has stuck with me ever since. In some way I feel like that person. Confused by the sudden change of everything around them and dear I say scared. Scared because the uncertainty of what those things are going to look like - career, relationships, housing etc. it feels like I’m starting from square one.
