1922–1978. In this short time, his accomplishments were incredible. With his last knowledge and fluency in Torah, Talmud Bavly, Yerushalmi, Shulchan, Aruch Zohar, Tikuney Zohar, Arizal, Chassidut, and especially Rabbi Nachman’s teachings. It was said of the great posek and holy tzadik, R' Moshe Feinstein ah that if he hadn't been so devoted to kiruv, he would have been known as one of the greatest leading Torah giants of his generation. He had an incredible influence on thousands of families, bringing them to teshuva, especially within the esteemed Syrian Jewish community of Brooklyn, NY. He was a chavruta of the holy tzadik, R' Menachem Mendel Schneerson, and a student of R' Avraham Steinhartz (great-grandson of R' Nosson). He was also the great-grandson of the Rav of Breslov, R' Aharon, the devoted student of Rabbi Nachman. He had the most incredible and awesome approach to mekarev. He would simply ask people to come to his shiur, and they were totally mesmerized. He would not try to argue or philosophize. As one student phrased it perfectly, he would teach pure Torah from his vast knowledge and great faith. The power of his Torah would penetrate the depths of people's souls. R' Levi Yitzchak Bender ah, leader of Chasidei Breslov in Jerusalem, insisted on giving a eulogy thanking him for his devotion to the Chassidim in Israel, supporting them, and being so instrumental in building the Breslov shul in Meah Shearim — even though Breslov custom generally avoids eulogies. He single-handedly opened the gates of the Iron Curtain, visiting Uman and Rabbi Nachman’s gravesite in the depths of Soviet times in the late 1950s. He said, "Some men leave wealth, properties, etc. I am leaving my tapes to the world." Now, for the first time ever, with great siate deshmeya, they are available here, free for everyone to cherish. All are welcome to copy and spread this holy Torah however they see fit. May we soon see the complete and final redemption for Am Yisrael. This channel is also dedicated to the victims of October 7 and all the holy soldiers who gave their lives fighting to defend Am Yisrael. It was known that he had great love and admiration for every soldier in Israel.
