Christmas Cruise!! Back at Christmas 2024, we headed off to ride a virgin ship..... The Resilient lady. It was a long journey for a one week cruise, so we added a few days in an airBnB first. Join me for my Caribbean cruise 2024! The first part of our adventure was a few days in San Juan (Puerto Rico) in the Caribbean. So, what is the good, the bad and the ugly on this island, if you are trying to visit on a budget of as little as possible? Well, watch and see. But I would go again just for the world's most amazing avocados! We see graveyards, forts, a shopping mall, Apparently they have manatees - we went out to try and find them, though had more success with wild lizards... Also a big fail from my GoPro - which kept changing to hyperlapse every time I used it in the water! And my strap-on my scuba mask broke! 😭 Plus the first look at the ship from this series of videos..... We survived a gruelling journey 😉 London Heathrow to JFK New York, to San Juan. 28 hours door to door. A few travel tips for surviving JFK too. Also, what do you think of my AI music soundtracks from Suno? I know some people don't agree with this.. but those people have never heard my wheezing attempts to make music with a kazoo! Slightly shocked to see how chubby I was then too. Lots of rain..... So much rain....
