Rather than addressing the things I said that they disagree with or don’t like, they have turned to criticizing my appearance. 1. I never said I don’t have a wide nose, or an ethnic nose. I said I don’t have a really wide nose. 6:48 And I don’t. 😂 2.I don’t have 4C, highly textured, kinky coily hair. I have a looser curl pattern, and that is why I said my hair texture does not match the typical Black American phenotype. However, my phenotype matches the typical Afro Latin, or even Caribbean phenotypes. I am not responsible for your ignorance concerning what these groups of black women look like. Maybe you should travel more, so that you may be introduced to the different types of Black beauty around the world. America is not the center of the world, and therefore the Black American phenotype is not the main standard in which all black women should be judged by. 3. At no point in the video did I say I was mixed, or that I was biracial or an exotical. I said I’m an Afro Latina. 5:24 I am a Hispanic West Indian. Which is a type of Black person. My dad is Afro Brazilian and Bajan(from Barbados), and my mother is Afro Cuban and Black American. Again, do some research, and you will find that South America, and in particularly Brazil has one of the largest populations of Black people outside of Africa. Weaponizing having a wide nose, or the typical African-American phenotype, is exactly what BW do when they feel another BW has privilege that they don’t have. They begin trying to project on to her, as a way of saying: no you are NOT as beautiful as you think you are. If more of you actually believed that the Black American phenotype was beautiful, you all would not use it as a weapon on other BW. Also, stop getting your panties in a bunch when BW that have more than one ethnicity speak about their ethnicity. I should be able to mention my Hispanic heritage, as well as my West Indian heritage without anyone feeling a way. Black Americans are not the center of each conversation concerning texturism, featurism or colorism. Just like a person’s race can be Asian, but they can either be Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, etc…. Black women have different ethnic groups that they can be as well. Not just Black American. #ParisMilan #ExoticalsUnited
