🎵 COMODIA: Música, Realidad Virtual y Bienestar en Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual🎧

La Fundación Juan XXIII y Nokia presentan COMODIA, un proyecto innovador que une música y tecnología inmersiva con un objetivo muy especial: mejorar la calidad de vida de personas mayores con discapacidad intelectual. Entre septiembre de 2023 y mayo de 2024, los participantes —personas de entre 39 y 75 años— asistieron a conciertos grabados en 180°, que luego pudieron revivir de forma inmersiva gracias a la realidad virtual. De este modo, no solo disfrutaron de la música en directo una vez más, sino que también experimentaron emociones positivas, reforzaron recuerdos significativos y rompieron con la rutina del día a día. El proyecto no solo ha acercado la emoción de los conciertos a quienes suelen tener más difícil acceder a este tipo de experiencias, sino que también ha servido para reducir la brecha digital, poniendo en sus manos tecnología que normalmente estaría fuera de su alcance. COMODIA es una muestra de cómo la tecnología puede generar vínculos, despertar emociones y mejorar el bienestar cuando se pone al servicio de las personas. ENGLISH: The Juan XXIII Foundation and Nokia present COMODIA, an innovative project that combines music and immersive technology with a very special goal: to improve the quality of life of older adults with intellectual disabilities. Between September 2023 and May 2024, participants—aged 39 to 75—attended concerts recorded in 180°, which they were then able to relive immersively using virtual reality. In this way, they not only enjoyed live music once again, but also experienced positive emotions, reinforced meaningful memories, and broke away from the routine of everyday life. The project has not only brought the excitement of concerts to those who often find it harder to access these types of experiences, but has also served to bridge the digital divide, placing technology that would normally be out of reach in their hands.
