“MARRY ME” (Official Music Video) Written and Performed by Louisa Manuel and Neil MacKinnon. Every song has a story and this is the story of “Marry Me”. Louisa had the vision of this song back when she was only 24 years old. She wrote the song and then put the completed song aside. A number of years later Louisa and Neil were performing as a duo and were looking for new material to add to their play list. Louisa went back through her song book, discovered this song from years ago and introduced it to Neil. Neil agreed to work on the arrangement to help bring “Marry Me” to life. The instrument tracks were completed and Louisa then recorded her vocal tracks here at the studio. After adding a few additional embellishments to the instrumentation, the recording of the song was complete. Simple but effective. It was then time to produce a music video for “Marry Me” and both Louisa and Neil gave free rein to “Hamblen Productions” to produce the music video. As always, it was, and continues to be, a pleasure working with both Louisa and Neil. They are both pleased to bring you the music video of “Marry Me” and we all hope you enjoy it.
