Decided to go big or go home, riding my 27mm reserves for a while, and decided to stretch em out another 10mm and get the 37's as well as industry nine 9 torch hubs over the DT swiss 350 Ive read all about wide rims and yep, they're definitely for me, I love goin fast. Just took it on its first (night) ride on the trails at about 10pm. What a difference, WOW. A few notes for you question askers; -yes, high engagement hubs are incredible in every way -yes you have more grip, more support, and lower rolling resistance FOR SURE -yes you can lower your psi even more -yes, that's right ya'll, high engagement hubs actually make your bike quieter! The resistance and engagement points keep your cassette from 'chattering' and retains your chain in an incredible manner, that was the most noticeable change on my ride.
