Samar requests Tanya to excuse them and then asks Kaveri the reason for her outburst. However, he soon manages to pacify her, thus clearing her misunderstanding. Pia attends the `Jagraata' and lies to Saloni that Sridhar and his parents were tired, so they went home from the airport. Kaveri tells Samar's parents that she's unwell, so she will not be able to attend the `Jagraata'. On the other hand, when Samar returns home, he is treated to a romantic candlelight dinner by Kaveri. However, she is annoyed when he says that he should attend the `Jagraata' at Saloni's house, and accuses him of not having time for her at all. Samar retorts that he will not allow her to emotionally blackmail him! Meanwhile, the `Jagraata' begins and Saloni notices that Pia is worked up, but Pia remains secretive and does not tell Saloni the truth. Night turns into day and the ceremony ends. Pia returns home and finds Sridhar in a drunken state. He demands to know why she had gone to attend the `Jagraata' in spite of him asking her not to! A furious Sridhar then flings a plate on Pia's head and it falls near Saloni's feet!
