Wrapped in plastic-free packaging except for the plastic sleeve the actual bowls were wrapped in. They are wide and shallow -- 3 1/2" edge to edge and 1 1/2" top to bottom. The glass is thick, so the interior dimensions are somewhat smaller. They hold a touch over 4 oz, filled to the brim. Durable? Yes. I needed them because I had dropped and broken all but one of my other small bowls. I dropped one of these within a minute of opening the box, and IT DIDN'T BREAK!! Not to say they're unbreakable, but the thing that destroyed my other bowls didn't bother these at all. Good product, good seller.
