A selection of scenic climbs performed at Blackstone Edge, Stony Edge, and Cow's Mouth in 2025 on the Lancashire moors above Littleborough, played alongside music kindly provided by the wonderful Freyja Evelyn. This film was originally made for and played at the Lancashire Adventure Film Festival (LAFF) 2026, at Rock Over Climbing in Bolton. These crags are a lowball bouldering paradise near the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire, all accessible from the car park beneath the lovely White House pub, and are both the perfect place to safely begin bouldering outside as a beginner, and for more experienced boulderers to push their skills. They also offer a good selection of mostly easier highballs, some trad lines, and a small amount of quarried grit to complement the swathes of natural grit available. 0:00 - Preamble 0:07 - Title/Part I 0:15 - Concavity Cons Gravity 0:50 - Blackstone Best 1:10 - Happy Mole Man 1:30 - Deft Cleft (easy variant) 2:06 - The Lushering 2:39 - Naomi's Wall 3:16 - Late To The Party 3:51 - Patiopia 4:53 - Part II 5:00 - Swingers 5:30 - Luna 5:54 - The Grit Exam 6:19 - The Kingdom Of Slope 6:44 - Do Like Zoidberg 7:06 - Jiggery Slopery 7:30 - Delicat 7:42 - Starter For Ten 8:09 - Get Your Fingers Out 8:49 - Part III 8:57 - Flute Note 9:29 - Gritworm 9:55 - Zaftig 10:16 - Look To Windward 10:51 - Chalk The Talk (low variant) 11:25 - Try Me 12:00 - Nik's Groove 12:18 - Basic Tech 12:41 - Thanks To Freyja 12:52 - Thanks To Robin 13:03 - Molly The Moocher Grades shown are the grades printed in the original 2014 Lancashire Bouldering guidebook by Robin Müller. This version differs from the one shown at LAFF, in that it has had wind noise reduction applied for the benefit of headphone users. Further information on the video and the climbs in it is available at https://climb.nf2p.com/moorland-shuffles. Finally, I'd like to thank Fat Lad Climbing for helping to promote the video on social media. They are a charity I sometimes get involved with who give many people their first taste of climbing outside. Check them out at https://fatladclimbing.co.uk.
