My 101% speedrun tutorial of 'Manic Mincers' in "Donkey Kong Country" for the Game Boy Advance. Full 101% speedrun tutorial: • Donkey Kong Country [GBA] Speedrun Tutoria... NOTE: This tutorial is not meant to be friendly. There might be a bit of safeness. But to get the fastest possible time, these tricks must be performed. Rambi the Rhino: Rambi is significantly slower in the GBA version than he was in the SFC version. But he is required to get 101%. And to do that, he needs to ram into Krusha in order to get a picture. Since Rambi is significantly slower, losing him multiple times is faster. The reason why is because it makes him speed up, and it makes going through the level faster with the speed of Diddy. After ramming into Krusha, Rambi is immediately dismounted. After Bonus Room #1: Going through 3 moving Mincers in a circle by cartwheeling is safer. It's possible to jump through those Mincers after cartwheeling, but it's just too risky. After letter N: Jumping on Krusha, turning left, and being sent to the right is faster. It's possible to jump over Krusha, but it's frame perfect. Bonus Room #2 approaching: After cartwheeling through a set of 3 Gnawtys, it's possible to one-cycle the fast moving Mincer by cartwheeling immediately. Bonus Room #2: In the SFC version, going into this area with the letter G in it wasn't required to get 101%. But in the GBA version, going into this area is required to get 101%. This area is very nasty when it comes to getting the letter G. ---------- In order to get 101% in the Game Boy Advance version, every Bonus Room has to be found. Not only that, but every picture (as well as the K-O-N-G letters) has to be collected.
