AQIS – AN ATTEMPT TO DISSEMINATE ANTI PAKISTAN PROPGANDA | 21-04-2022 | FREEDOM FOR ALL WEBTV

Despite a series of setbacks with losing the leadership in Afghanistan in the last few months, Al-Qaeda in the Sub-Continent (AQIS), the fifth and youngest affiliate of the transnational terrorist group, maintains its propaganda campaign to mobilize a broad support base in its areas of operation like India and Bangladesh. Two principles are a constant focus of AQIS’ media campaign including far enemies that are anti-Western propaganda, US, Israel, Christian and Jews and the near enemy Pakistan and its armed forces especially ISI. The campaign is aimed to negatively target Pakistan Army, ISI and recent democratic events portraying that Government of Pakistan, Army and ISI supports anti-Islam elements. AQIS continues to exploit the messaging app Telegram, despite recent crackdowns on extremist content. Most recently, AQIS has also used Rocket Chat, another messaging app, among other social media messaging applications for its propaganda along with ‘Al-Sahab’ or ‘Matboaat-e-jihad’ web portals. Al-Qaeda, emerged and remained as a cluster of existing terrorist militant groups within the Indian subcontinent. The anti-Pakistan and anti-ISI campaigns are a mere attempt to distract and use the people for personal false interests in the name of religion. Pakistan is one strong nation bonded at a single vision with a fiber that cannot be broken and would fight through all odds to protect its territory from malicious invading campaigns.
