What the Hell is an Asym? Is there anyone out there that really truly knows? We're huge fans of surfboards out here in the Mentawai but we've yet to run across a human being on planet earth that can properly explain what an Asym is and what it truly does. Can you only ride it frontside? Does it go backside? Can a goofy foot and regular foot ride the same board? Why does the tail look like that? What's up with the nose? We brought our favorite Goofy-Foot pilot, William Aliiotti out to the Mentawai with a quiver of tailor made Asyms for perfect surf. Since neither William or us really understood why his Asyms worked so well, we had to know more.
