The time has come to play my most requested game. People have asked me to do a playthrough of CTR since I finished the first three Crash games back in 2008, but I don't really know why I never did. Now that it's out in a brand new and shiny HD version, I really have no excuse anymore. One thing you need to understand is that I don't have the same kind of history with this game as I do with the Crash trilogy, as I only played through it once when it was new. Why I never played it again is another thing I can't really answer, because I've been playing it a lot over the past few days to warm up for this, and it sure is a lot of fun. In other words, you shouldn't expect any masterful level of playing here, but I'll do my best to make it a competent and helpful playthrough. As usual, I'll do one video per "thing" you have to do and then I'll make a full playthrough video when I've finished the whole thing. I don't know what's the best order to do things, but I think I'll just play through all the levels first, then do CTR challenges and finally time trials. I really need all the practice I can get if I'm gonna do all platinums. In this video, I show everything that happens from the moment you start up the game until you get to play. I go through all the new stuff in the menus, but this takes a while, so skip to 5:00 if you just want to watch the intro video. Then I take a short tour through the first area to listen to all of Aku's hints about what you have to do to unlock stuff. I have no idea what the maximum percentage is in this game, so I'm just putting 100% for now.
