Abe makes no apology over past during Capitol Hill speech / YTN

There was no clear apology from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe over Japan's atrocities during World War Two in his address at a joint session of the U.S. Congress on Wednesday. During his 45-minute speech at Capitol Hill, Abe said his country's wartime actions had brought suffering to other Asian peoples and that he upholds the views of his predecessors on history.
