Siquijor island mode of transportation to and from its nearby provinces in Visayas and Mindanao is through the surrounding seawaters. There is no available mass transportation yet by air so far. Though a wide airport is under construction that caters only for chartered or privale plane for the mean time. Siquijor port has tens of routes per day to Dumaguete and vise versa. It is slowly returning to its pre-pandemic level. The boats are roll-off, roll-on or RoRo and fastcrafts. RoRo travels to Dumaguete and vise versa 1.5 to 2 hours while fastcrafts approximately 45 mins. Larena port serves neaby provinces of Cebu, Bohol, and Mindanao. Siquiior and Larena ports are the busiest in the island. Lazi port now serves Dapitan, Iligan, Ozamis in Mindanao. Mostly these routes are subject to change without prior notice. Other small ports serve private ferries mostly for island tour with tourists. Tourists can check booking websites for the accomodation they like during their stay in the island.
