i got my new and first poly pro hoop 4 days ago and haven't hoop practiced with it (couldn't because i wasn't able to go to the rec center so i had to hoop in a room that was too short to do anything in)...haven't REALLY practiced everything with it till now, on my 7th month hooping THIS VIDEO IS NOT SPED UP. yeah, i thought so too once i up loaded it on youtube and reviewed it but all the footage from the camera to the editing software to youtube is the same pace, its just the hoop is THAT light and reactive. If you don't believe me check out the 2 girls on the exercise balls to the right who go normal pace as they sit up, talk, and continue to exercise or the maintence Rec guys walking in the back. Behind the white wall (behind the glass so its behind the equipment you see) is an indoor track so the guy running by once in a while is running on the track which is why he's seen only a short time. I take pride in what i post online. If it is sped up then i'd tell you or say it in the video because i hate lying to people, even white lies, but the video is not sped up . I still can't believe it myself. i look like a robot! haha. kinda scary actually. more of a review: the green hoop is one of my lightest hoops but after hooping with the pink poly pro, that green hoop felt super heavy like my first ever super big hoop. You'll be able to make quick movements such as isolation changes in the mid of a move you're already doing. Although the video looks quick you still have enough time to think of what your next move is. The dance in this was not planned ahead, i winged it (check what that term means in the glow in the dark video). Poly pros, from my experience with it tonight, react very well and they react the moment your grip or pressure or something changes which makes it easier to transition to the next move. however, if you've only practiced with 100PS or anything heavier than a poly pro then you're going to accidently add more pressure than you need simply because you're use to it. I'd recommend getting a poly pro even if you don't think you're ready so maybe a size of 34" or a 36" unless you think you're ready and know exactly what type of hoop size you want to get. genrally it should be the same size or 2 inches smaller than you're favorite hoop you dance with. moves such as the vortex and isolations after jump throughs are hard to do because the movement is so quick that your body needs to learn how to quickly respond and get in position simply b/c the hoop is ready before you are for the next more. Its about practice but you learn very quickly. Took me 4-7 songs to finally get the hang of a poly pro and even then I'm still learning Got my colored poly pro hoop from: http://www.etsy.com/shop/FeatherHoops you can find more pol pro hoops if you search for it at etsy.com You can also get colored poly pro hoops from here: http://superhooper.org/polyprocolors....
