Diane plays the church's main organ, the 1994 Jann organ at Frauenkirche in Munich, Germany. About the organ: The main organ was built in 1994 by the workshop of Georg Jann, based in Laberweinting, Bavaria. It was installed as part of a larger project (with a choir organ in 1993) during the cathedral’s restoration completed in 1994. It contains 95 stops, 140 ranks, and around 7,165 pipes. Combined with the 1993 choir organ, the total setup has 131 stops, 193 ranks, and 9,833 pipes, making it the largest organ ensemble in Munich. It has one mechanical-action console located behind the Rückpositiv on the upper gallery, and one movable electric-action console on the lower choir gallery, electrically connected. Both consoles can control the main organ and — via connection — the choir organ. It contains a combination of mechanical key action for the main tracker console and electric action for the movable console and stops. The main and choir organs are interconnected (via fiber optic or electrical system) so that either console can play both instruments. It includes a chamade (horizontal trumpet) division which is assignable to all manuals and pedal. The tonal design and case draw inspiration from historic German organs (especially the Stellwagen organ of the Marienkirche, Stralsund). It’s played frequently for services and organ concerts, including annual summer series.
