Inspired by “Upiór” (“The Living Dead”) from Adam Mickiewicz’s Dziady, the song retells the story of a cursed soul rising once a year from his grave — neither living nor dead, trapped in a cycle of blood, sorrow, and eternal return. Forefathers’ Eve – Part II explores the tragedy behind the monster: a being doomed to feed yet tormented by guilt, whose victims drown not only in terror, but in the overwhelming pain reflected in his eyes. It is a portrait of a creature condemned by fate, a prisoner of his own sin, wandering endlessly between worlds. A tale of hunger and remorse, horror and grief — a ritual repeated across centuries.
