The Gilson SS-10 One-Touch Vibratory Shaker 8 inch (200mm) sieve shaker, ideal for powders and many fine granular materials including minerals, pharmaceuticals, metals, and cosmetics, combines the latest in electronic control with proven separation technology for fast, accurate separations of samples without the loud and frustrating tapping noise. The three-dimensional vibratory action of the SS-10 creates a fluid bed which evenly distributes the test sample across the sieve mesh as it continuously lifts and reorients particles to insure the maximum number of passing opportunities. And to insure optimum sieving performance, the Gilson programmable touch-screen controller allows users to select: precise operational times, vibration levels, test ID, test pause, and the capacity to save up to 99 testing profiles. And the SS-10 also has an interval pause feature, where pre-programmed vibration pauses, allow materials to come to a rest, then resumes vibration, to resemble tapping action that reorients and redistributes particles, to clear the mesh. The Interval Pause feature is fully customizable as to the length of pause time as well as the number of pauses during the test. This quiet and compact bench-top unit features a fast-acting clamp assembly that quickly and easily locks and unlocks sieves in place, assuring efficient transfer of vibration energy. With a recommended particle size range from #10 (2mm) to #635 (20µm), the SS-10 accepts up to eight full-height, or sixteen half-height ASTM 8 inch (200mm) or ISO 200mm sieves, plus a pan, and is the perfect choice for any material testing lab.
